Telcosat Inc can now offer clients user selective bandwidth repeaters in the popular 824/849 to 869/894 megahertz band. CDMA, GSM, AMPS
" NEW" 900 GSM Band-width Selectable available.
Selectable bandwidths are 5 Megahertz, 10 Megahertz, 25 Megahertz.
Center frequency can be adjusted anywhere in the band pass of the repeater by programming the PLL.
Programming can be factory adjusted to customer requirements, or the unit can be programmed by the end user.
Band Selectable units are preferred in areas that are co-locating with competitor wireless operators.
Wireless operators do not want to repeat the competitors signals so a band selective unit will allow the end user to amplify only the signals of choice.
In high density areas a band selective repeater can be easily adjusted to specific band-widths to assist in the load sharing of wireless cellular traffic, thus preventing signals reaching other nearby cellular towers and redirecting cellular traffic.
